Safe Place Outreach
When youth need someone to listen or immediate help, call 24/7 crisis line, 343-TEEN, go to a Safe Place Location displaying the Safe Place sign, come to Christopher Youth Center shelter, or look us up on Facebook to chat.
This outreach provides immediate help and someone to listen.

What Happens at a Safe Place Site?
Youth can access help at a safe place site by simply going to the site and letting the person on duty know that they need help. Christopher Youth Center staff or volunteers will be contacted and someone will meet the youth at the safe place site to assess the situation and determine the best options to help. If the need is counseling, medical attention, referrals, food, clothing, or shelter, it’s just that easy to get help!
